Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of one (1) year of Lead Tech radiologic technology experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of technical experience.
Experience PREFERRED:
Experience performing in a leadership role. Previous work experience in an academic medical center environment.
Education/training REQUIRED:
Graduation from a JRC Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology that is recognized by the ARRT.
Education/training PREFERRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Radiation Science, Business, or closely related field from an accredited program is strongly preferred.
Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or closely related field from an accredited program is preferred.
Independent action(s) required:
All day to day workflow coordination and team supervision.
Advice and guidance sought from Manager on an as needed situational basis and when there is a major impact on activity of the modality.
Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable):
All team members in assigned modality report to this position; day to day workflow responsibilities may be delegated as appropriate.
Supervisors are expected to cover unplanned absences for staff that may occur on any shift, as needed.
Additional position requirements:
Weekend and other after hours coverage may be required based on workload demand and teaming needs.
